Acro Polates NEW TERM, NEW COURSES

You know how the pole/aerial world is constantly evolving, improving.Practically every other day someone invents a new move or a new combo.

At Acro Polates, we don't stop either, our certified instructors constantly explore new ways/methods/techniques to help you get better. Coming next term starting the week of 21 May, we have made several changes to our syllabus and incorporated new stuff


1. We are adding Level 9 (Polevocative-Static Tricks)-learn more impressive tricks and combos from Instructor Eunice (Mon 7.30pm)

2. Our Open Class is now renamed Pole Conditioning & Stretch (PCS) and suited for all (any level). Instructor Karen will help those who aspire to improve strength and flexibility to better execute that pole trick (Sat 1pm)

3. By popular demand, our Aerial Fitness is now divided into Aerial Hoop (Sat 10am) and Aerial Silk (Sat 11am). Learn a full Aerial Hoop or Silk Routine in 8 weeks from Instructor Lydia. Does not matter if you are a beginner or have previous knowledge, she has two rotuines catered to different levels.

4. Without a doubt Aerial Fitness provides one of the best form of strength and flexibility training. We are starting Aerial conditioning classes in this beautiful gym on Sundays 1pm. What is amazing is the conducive environment, fulfills your childhood dream of being in a circus.

What have I been doing?

I know I owe you big time, and I am not surprised you have abandoned this blog....I spend so, and I mean so so time these days updating facebook. So if you are still keen on me, go facebook to find Suzie Wong , or Acro Polates.

Just a little update. my performance career and life has evolved a little. I am involved in so many aerial performances that sometimes  I forget I am a singer and I am not sure I know how to sing anymore....these are some of the recent videos, if you don't see me in the video, that is because I am behind the camera :)

Oh yes, another thing I have been busy with is creating new workshops. Over the last few months, we have had Burlesque/Chair/Feaher Boa/Exotic Workshops by Mr Burlesque, Rodney James, Master Pole Workshops by Pole Champion  Jenyne Butterfly and currently Single and Double Static Trapeze by Izzie Y.

Suddenly feel an urge to share this. Because i realize many animal lovers are not aware of its existence. I love this place because it is run by such passionate people who do not care less about brands, breeds or pedigree. Week after week you see the same volunteers feeding, walking, bathing the blinded, the limping, the not-so pretty nor hansome mixed or no breed dogs. They spent christmas, chinese new year with whom they regard as family

Acro Polates Celebrates its birthday like no other

No other Singapore Pole/Aerial Dance Studio does it quite like Acro Polates. Every year we are challenged to scale greater heights. Besides lots of pole at our 3rd year Anniversary(13 talented pole enthusiasts from the region came to participate at our Sg Pole Challenge), we managed to set up a tall truss for our aerialists and trapeze artists to demonstrate their talents..Those who benefitted were clearly the audience!
