A SUZIE WONG SOUVENIR

They made me a small little billboard with surrounding bulbs for this morning's event. It's so retro i LOVE it.

As it is for a campaign that's not launched yet, i can't unveil the logo. This morning was a preview to partners of a beverage company

--------added later---------

Just received this from them thru the email...they LOVE me, don't they

the logo goes so well with Suzie, but too bad can't show now, maybe later when the campaign is launched. Hint: it has the same as my desired cake shop remember? haha, don't need to SPELL it out if you know!

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME I WOKE AT 6AM

To get ready for an event, for anything.

  • Arrived at the zoo by 8am
  • Guests started streaming in 8.30am
  • At 9am, program started and went on almost non stop as more people were arriving
(click to enlarge but not many variations of pictures as photographer was my dj, so half the time he was busy on the console but i forced him to snap some pictures)
  • The crowd swelled to this at about 10am.

An hour later or so, crowd was doubled and remaining were standing by the side of the tents. Was only too happy when it all ended at about 1pm. The guests were happy and organisers were fervently shaking my hand for job well-done. By then you can wring perspiration out of my pink cap and pink leopard print skirt!

Anyway i have another very early morning thingie tomorow, like 7am?

SURVIVED!

Just so glad that I made it thru the 6 gigs from Thus to Sat (with one being a 4 1/2 job a the zoo)......

Update the shows later, today I just want to bask in my Sunday! Yippee!

I'm such a big fan of her now

This is what i truly call a striptease, beautiful face, body, all woman, delicate moves. She used to be Mrs Marilyn Manson (Gah!).

Oh wow, I still got hope to look beautiful (I mention look only, never mention anything about having a body), just read somewhere she's only 4 years younger than me!

---------------------------------

Added later:

Did anyone read about a club near Sentosa discriminating against women above 35, denying them free-drinks on ladies' nite? Reason: cannot attract men woh!

Wa! So it means even the beautiful Dita also falls into this category ah?

Siao right? Sigh! I'm never going to this snobbish place

EVENT GUEST SO ADORABLE

I just got home from a performance, first of my six this week.

It was a pole performance just now, i thought it was so cute i can't wait to tell you.

You know how usually in my pole show (click on the link at the side if you've not seen one) i'll invite some guests (audience) to try out pole dancing and usually i'll pick the one seemingly more 'arrogant' one to emulate my moves and then i'll go into a series of inverts.

So just now after showing off my shoulder mount, scorpio, hip hold etc etc. this guy (guest) said 'no problem' and that he would repeat every move i had done, to the applause of all the guests. When the music started, stunts he definitely did, but all ON THE FLOOR.............he was hilarious to watch. I so wish i had a camera.

And needless to say, the show went extremely well...thanks to him (William). It's probably one of the best so far!

QUCIK WATCH....MAY NOT BE HERE FOR TOO LONG COS....

got MC16 or M18 rating hor......

We never have commercials like this. But it's so good not because of the boobs, but the BOOTS! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7852793782855486581&q=boots+commercial&hl=en

Anyway, I'm gonna have a mad weekend ahead , have 6 groups of people to entertain, one of the group suppose to be 8000-strong! Madness or not? So I thought I sneak in this in to entertain you, my dear blog friends before I get too tired!

pst pst....hint hint...(for those who considering between (1) to walk the dog by the beach or (2) bring your kid to take picture with Ah Meng, choose the former.........avoid the zoo this saturday! But then again doesn't mean I'm not at Sentosa it won't be crowded also lah!hee

DURIAN MELT

I had the durian melt from the Vtea room last weekend. It was a good recommendation from WG, but with its price tag of nearly $20 for just 1 serving, it will probably be another 1 time experience for me like the Aurum. Plus the inevitable cafe latte to go with it, and the parking fee of $5.50 at the Esplanade, I can have a very good meal elsewhere spending this amount. Meow, you should try it. But it won't be with me, can't afford to go another time ........

Ever Since VB bought me the 1st tin of cookies, I found myself rather hooked on its desserts. It's a good thing i found out they are closing for renovation in July. So for a while I will not have to worry to deliberately suppress those sudden cravings to drive there to find satiety

CAN ANYONE WALK IN THESE?

My niece & nephew took these pictures with their handphones for 'yee yee' (that's what they call me) when they walked by a boutique, because yee yee is probably the only person they know who would buy those.
Much as I love them whole-hearted, I'd probably cannot afford them monetarily and to trip and fall in them!

Then their mum sent me this: hahahahah........get entertained ..............

MORE FROM DOWN UNDER

OMG, no wonder my sister thinks those who tried to pick me up at the Sydney disco have paedophile tendecies.....Look at this picture one of the Aussie polers took of me and posted at the forum.
But i just realised that the problem lies with me. I'm at the stage am highly in denial of my age! Look at what i bought from a Sydney shop, wore it today and shocked all my colleagues.
Cute right? Heehee, so loved the red pockets

I WENT ALL THE WAY.......

.......to ensure i consistently achieve this move.............

No, I did not ship it the FIRM GRIP nor use the SPRAY MOUNT (hahaha, makes me think of VB)

But I actually went to buy ........................................

.......................................

A BRAND NEW POLE!

Aiyo I'm crazy or what? You see this pole is 5mm smaller than the actual pole size and i swear that made all the difference. Just now at the sudio i set it up, i tried, and viola, went up perfectly again.

Only problem is ....where am i going to put it up?? For I'm still keeping the old pole. Don't know la, stress tomoro.

I can hear VB scolding me already because she once asked me if she should buy the thinner pole. I'm still firm on my stand. It's important to learn the hard and what is the original way, for the standard poles are 50mm. For my case, once i train up those needed muscles i will still go back to the thicker pole, just that for now it seemed impossible to progress.

I remembered I promised myself after I get back from Sydney after splurging those money on tickets, shopping, parties, to be very frugal when i return, but now..sigh! See la!

ANYWAYS, Talking about expenditure, i recently bought this. Does anyone believe in it?

Drinking collagen? Sigh, can't believe i got to resort to this fix! It is going to form part of my monthly FIXED expenditure if it works

DO I EVER WANNA GO SYDNEY AGAIN?

The last time i had an airport saga was in Shanghai, but that was because the flight was cancelled without my knowledge.

But who would expect someone who travels looking like this plane(picture courtesy of VB) will be a target of suspicion for...what....illegal immigration? Prostitution?

The minute I touched down and spotted travelling solo, an officer asked to see my arrival card. The notion of 'holiday' which i marked as a reason for travelling there and 'for 3 days' didn't quite click with him. He asked repeatedly if I was sure I was there for a holiday for only 3 days. I thought he was assured when I said I had to get back to work. He marked a Big 'RED' word across my arrival card and i was allowed to proceed to the immigration counters, only to be stopped again after that.

The same officer came out, led me to a counter in full view of other travellers, put on a pair of rubber gloves (like those for surgery or murder) and started tucking into every piece in my luggage, and all these while firing me questions like who i was meeting, how much money i brought, where & how I was meeting them, what kind of friends, where they from and what we gonna do. As I'm not a seasoned 'cross examinee', i found myself not answering fast enough and i think that aroused more suspicion. Worse when the words 'internet friends' was mentioned. The last straw was when the term 'pole dance' which i made an effort not to mention, had to, and was blurted out...THAT'S IT. "Pole dance? Oh yeah? You do pole dance? You here to be a pole dancer?" My head was rung by repeated attempts to get me to admit I was there to get a dancing job. At this point I almost wanted to tell him why would i want to do that as I probably have a better job then him back home...I'm here to pole jam with some pole enthusiasts I met online, after we gonna have a costume party...THAT'S IT!! Uurgh! Wa kao!

And then he found my teeny school girl costume.....haha.....he said "that's it? that's all you have, ok, you can go now....have a good time.". He must be convinced by now as I think my costume not HAWT enough and too un-stripper like! Hahahah....

As if that was not enough, on the day I departed the place, I was again checked and questioned......think i'm blacklisted or something.

After those (plus some other not-so-pleasant) experiences, I told myself I don't think I EVER need to go back Sydney. But I changed my mind after sinking my teeth into the first macadamia nut I bought from a nut shop there.....wa, damn nice, can't find them here. I actually bought 8 packets meant to give to colleagues and friends but decided they too precious to be used as gifts (sorry la), except for 1 packet i gave my dear monday auntie who always cooks such nice crabs for me (i promised her before i left)

Footnote:

Can't imagine what will happen if this outfit ah...... taboo....hahaha

I NAILED THE PENCIL

So this is one of those harder moves that eluded me for a long time due to my short fingers and small palms. When they are so short they can hardly wrap round the pole, it is hard to find the balance in this position. Picture this: doing a handstand is already hard enough but to have to hold our entire bodyweight on a backwards twisted hands like this --what do ya think?

So at the sydney ipole studio, they had this spray called the 'firm grip' that gives the hand a slightly sticky texture and....... viola, went up perfecty and can even experiment several leg attitude poses...

Watch how i got into this position

Was very proud of myself , except that I may not be able to do without the spray...hmm, maybe can use spray mount...hahahaha

BACK AND....REJUVENATED?

Not sure man! Considering I did SO much over just 2 and a quarter days plus a total 16 hours of travelling! Think i come back more tired then before.
Anyway do click on the collages to enlarge the pictures if you wanna see them.
Pictures first, stories later....about how the "pole"got me into trouble at the Sydney immigration..stay tuned

(can enlarge pic by clicking)
Waited almost a month for these to arrive.

Can never find a decent and cheap one in Singapore. They either cheap and not nice or nice but not cheap.
I like especially the pink dice one, so cute. I'm ready to perform for the Opening of IR....anyone wants to hire me....huh, huh, ANYONE? ANYONE?

I paid over $70 for all 5, quite ok lah huh? The other 2 are with chains round the waist. So envious when i see belly dancers don them.
Now I'm ready to order the bolder ones (the seem larger from their website)

SUZIE SIZZLES!

YES I WAS ONE HOT SUZIE

Not what you think, like a hot sexy mama.....

I was performing at a family day at Sentosa this noon in sveltering 40 dg

See the sweat dripping on my forehead at second picture (click to enlarge picture)? haha, like melting like that.

It was a huge event. It was no fun getting in, finding parking. There were people everywhere. Carparks were full, buses were full, roads were congested.

It makes me wonder what will happen to people living in Sentosa Cove when there are events like these. What more when resorts world opens! Think i need a helicoptor to get in.

When i came home, I needed therapy...I did say no butter cream for time being to shed kilos, but i didn't say no baking...so here goes, first attempt at cookies! hee.
Ok, so all the baking experts, need your advice. while the cookies taste very good, they don't hold together very well. As in not frm, bite only all reduce to small crumps. Where did I go wrong? The mixing, folding ????

CRAMP DE LA CRAMP

This was so wrong! On a happening Friday night with no shows, instead of out jamming, poling, cake binging, partying, i was home curled up in bed because I had to take this!!! Never before had it so bad.Sign of age? Or is it just because my office ventilation very bad, everyone ill or very stress. And it didn't help that yesterday I had to deal with the most demanding Client, who holds the title "Senior Legal Something" of a Big electronics company. Wah! Bleed!

Think I need to breathe more fresh air. So this noon went out to join some thousands of school holiday teens to do some healthy nature walk/cycling in the east.

Came across this, does anyone know what this is?
Then saw an auntie caught this puffer fish at the jetty. About 1 foot long and puffing, poor thing. The lady who caught it didn't want it and didn't know what to do, because you know puffer fish can be poisonous to eat right? So a hero help put it back into the sea and let it live again.....wee........guess who is the hero lor!
