Video montage of younger Suzie Wong

I haven't been here for days, I know.....had been so busy...

Anyways, I found this old video montage of my earlier performing days and I thought it was so nostagic I gotto upload onto youtube to store it there
.

You can see the degenerated video quality as it was previously edited using VHS tape. You will see towards the end of the video, the contest which kind-of launched this whole entertainment thingie for me.

SL: talking about THAT song, I got long story to tell you. Actually i was on that episode to sing lipstick on your collar, my winning song for another contest. Than last min the designated singer for this "gonna make u love me" didn't turn up and they made me learn the song in 2 hours and put me up for recording! hahaha. never heard of the song prior to this, but the chorus "I'm gonna make you love me, yes i would, yes i would" quite stuck in my head.

Researcher: thank you, long time no see

EDPJ: The "vegas" show featured in the video was not really in vegas, it was only a themed event. But I have been to Vegas many years back to perform for a series of promotional events under tourism promotion. That time an entourage of 15 performers went round west america on a singapore tourism promotion stint and it was one of the most memorable thing.

yup, the chorus is the only easy to remember and sing part. the rest of the song is not easy. especially if done in that 70s soul style.
